More than gaming
Besides gaming in casinos, visitors can play outdoors on the river or on land, check out a classic car museum, shop at an outlet mall and resort boutique shops, and cruise one of the most scenic rivers in the world.
Just outside the city, visitors will find an Old West mining town, an exotic-animal sanctuary, the scenic Grand Canyon Caverns, and a local winery and distillery.

From fireworks to film
• Rockets Over the River is one of the most spectacular July Fourth fireworks displays in the West. Choreographed to patriotic music, the booming displays of colors are launched above the river, directly across from the hotels.
• River Regatta is a summer party on the river. Closing out the season in August, this themed celebration includes decorated floats, costumed participants and parties galore. Bank groups can participate with their own inner tubes or decorated floats.
• Check out Laughlin’s International Film Festival in October, a showcase of independent filmmakers from around the world. Guests can not only experience terrific movies and attend the red carpet gala, but also take part in a question-and-answer session with the filmmakers, actors and actresses.
• In November, Veterans Day weekend is a tailor-made event for bank groups that have patriotic roots. Veterans are honored throughout, and music, vendors, displays, a patriot guard ceremony and an acknowledgment of all military branches are on the agenda. The Laughlin resorts also host their own special events to complement the weekend’s festivities.
Location: Laughlin sits at the crossroads of three states: Nevada, California and Arizona. The city is 90 miles from Las Vegas. Groups can reach major southern California cities, the Phoenix valley, and the Grand Canyon, all within a four-hour drive.
