Atlantic City, New Jersey

With 12 casino resorts, 20 golf courses and their world-famous four-and-a-half-mile boardwalk, Atlantic City is a bank travel favorite.

“Our new Revel Entertainment Resort is now welcoming group travelers,” said Heather Colache, director of tourism for the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority. “Also new is the Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville-themed Land Shark beach bar at the Resorts Casino Hotel.”

With so much to do in this iconic seashore town, visitors often step onto the Atlantic City Trolley to see it all.

“This is a great way to see where you’d like to spend more time; the tour showcases those places you’ll return to on your own,” said Colache.

Highlights on the tour include the Agsecon Lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse in New Jersey; Historic Gardner’s Basin, a maritime park that offers a craft village, an aquarium and the location where cruise-lovers depart on an eco-cruise; Lucy the Elephant, a six-story novelty piece of architecture; and many war memorials.

“You’ll also get an introduction to our many shopping options,” added Colache. “From the Pier Shopping at Caesars that extends 100 feet over the ocean to the Quarter at Tropicana to Tanger Outlets.”
