Born: Alison was born in Detroit, and Doug was born in Dallas.

Education: Alison received a Master of Education degree from Illinois State University. Doug received a bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University in Detroit.

Employment: Alison spent 25 years teaching science and math on the high school and junior high school level. Doug was in insurance sales for over 40 years. Together, they have been directors of the Hometown Community Travelers for five years.

Family: Married for 44 years, the Robinsons have two sons and five grandchildren.

Hobbies: Both enjoy reading and walking. Alison loves to sew, and Doug sews “when Alison won’t sew for me.”
