The Select Traveler Conference offers the best in educational seminars for travel program directors and travel industry delegates. This year, the conference is offering three outstanding seminar speakers in addition to the traditional breakout sessions. That’s four sessions in three days that address your travel program’s marketing, management, operations and membership growth.
It’s hard to know where to begin when detailing the accomplishments of Kim Hodous, the opening Super Session presenter at this year’s Select Traveler Conference in Nashville. A resident of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Hodous started her speaking and writing business at her kitchen table and now appears before hundreds of groups nationally each year.
Do you begin with her latest book? “Show Up, Be Bold, Play Big: 33 Strategies for Outrageous Success and Lasting Happiness” is earning “must read” accolades in motivational speaking circles. How about her being named the 2012 Quilly Award Winner and Author of the Year by the National Academy of Best-Selling Authors, or her being one of the first 25 people inducted into the Arkansas Small Business Hall of Fame? Hodous is also the mother of five and a yoga instructor.
Any way you look at it, this year’s Super Session presenter comes with a remarkable resume and a boatload of energy, enthusiasm and insights.
“Kim is one of those people who can balance success, entrepreneurial projects and life at home — and maintain a healthy, happy outlook while doing it,” said Select Traveler Conference vice president Teresa Burton. “I’ve been around our travel planners enough to know how responsive they are to high-energy, high-focus individuals like Kim. Many of our planners are cut from the same cloth. It should be a great session.”
