Small ship company AdventureSmith Expeditions has announced a series of sailings to Cuba starting in December. The “Cuba People to People Cruise” will invite visitors aboard a 49-passenger, three-masted schooner to visit five ports along Cuba’s western and southern shore.

The eight-day cruise will explore Havana, Maria La Gorda, Gayo Largo, Trinidad and Cienfuegos. People-to-people experiences will engage passengers with locals to learn about Cuba’s sports, medicine, music and culture.

The cruise itinerary weaves historic architecture, nature and cuisine into participants’ trip experience.
