What began as a job answering phones for President Bill Clinton’s press office at age 19 turned into a career with numerous achievements, including her organization of more than 1,000 events as White House director of events. Laura Schwartz, author of “Eat, Drink and Succeed,” will reveal some of the professional tools it took for her to succeed at the 2012 BankTravel Conference in Memphis, Tenn., Feb. 7-9.

Schwartz’s motivational program “Eat, Drink and Succeed” will entertain and illustrate how to create partnerships in a person’s personal and professional life. The program will outline how these partnerships can help attendees develop their loyalty programs, grow partnerships within their offices and strengthen their personal lives.

As White House director of events, Swartz oversaw 12 state arrival ceremonies and dinners, including the Millennium Celebration and NATO’s 50th Anniversary. Swartz also served as White House director of television and the Midwest press secretary. Additionally, she founded White House Strategies at www.whitehousestrategies.com, and appears as a commentator on CBS news and the BBC World News.
