The Manatee Chamber of Commerce, three-time winner of the Florida Chamber of the Year, has 2,000 members across the Greater Manatee County economic region. The largest chamber in the Tampa Bay area, it has a five-star accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. It was also the first chamber to win the National Chamber of the Year, an award granted by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives.
Travel Tips
• Partner with the local media, such as newspapers and magazines, to gain new travelers.
• Never customize a trip. If you don’t meet the minimum requirement of travelers with a tour operator, they may combine your group with another group on a standard itinerary and cancel your customizations, and your people will be disappointed.
• Communicate. It’s a long span between signing up for a trip and the departure. It’s important to stay connected throughout that time.
