LITTLETON, Colo. — Delegates to BankTravel 2012 in Memphis, Tennessee, will be taking a “side trip” to the Canadian Rockies during the conference’s closing luncheon sponsored by the Globus family of brands and Tourism Alberta.
Globus is a sponsor of long standing and is known for bringing a major destination partner with them each year for banks to consider in future travel plans.
“The Globus family of brands is always proud to sponsor the closing luncheon at the BankTravel Conference,” said Mike Schields, managing director of groups and emerging markets. “For several years now we have always endeavored to make it a fun, exciting and informative event for the bankers. BankTravel 2012 is no exception as we partner with Alberta.
“Anyone who has taken a group to Alberta knows that this is one of the highest satisfaction destinations there is. From the majesty of the Canadian Rockies to Lake Louise to Jasper to Banff to Calgary and Edmonton, this is an amazing destination with some of the world’s most friendly people.”
In a recent survey of banks undertaken for the BankTravel Industry Directory published by Bank Travel Management, the Canadian Rockies were ranked among the very top international destinations for banks.
“With an array of escorted tour programs on Globus and Cosmos and independent programs on Monograms, no one has more ‘Alberta’ than we do,” said Schields. “Alberta is also an easy destination to customize — hiking, biking, fishing and all kinds of other travel options exist for more adventurous bank travelers.
“We are thrilled to be featuring them and our other products in Memphis.”
