Tauck Partners with Grand Tetons National Park for an Artist-in-Residence Program
NORWALK, Connecticut – Tauck and the Grand Tetons National Park recently announced the new American Indian Artist-in-Residence program that supports traditional and contemporary American Indian arts. The program aims to educate Tauck guests and other park visitors through direct interaction with participating artists.
Tauck will fund the program, which runs from May through September this year. The Grand Teton National Park helped select the four American Indian artists who will reside in the park on a rotating basis.
Tauck group members will experience exclusive, small-group visits with the artists on three different Tauck itineraries, including “Legends of the American West,” “Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks,” and “Cowboy Country,” which is a family-friendly tour. The artists will also lead several larger presentations for the general public in the park’s Craig Thomas Discovery Visitor Center.
