Collette Vacations is right on track to deliver another superb luncheon at BankTravel 2012.  For the Memphis conference, they’re bringing one of Europe’s most iconic destinations with them — Switzerland. Switzerland Tourism will join forces with the international travel company for lunch on Feb. 8 to share with delegates the wonder of trains as a mode of travel and the beauty of train travel in Switzerland specifically.

“We’re very excited about the new tour Collette offers, Alpine Lakes and Scenic Trains,” said Alex Herrmann, director of Americas for Switzerland Tourism. “The combination of Switzerland and Italy offers some of the best-known Swiss scenic train experiences, such as the Glacier and Bernina Express, but also some lesser-known trains such as the William Tell Express from Italian-speaking Switzerland to Lucerne, which also includes a beautiful boat ride on Lake Lucerne.”

“Switzerland has been extremely popular with our BankTravel customers,” said Tony Etienne, vice president of business development for Collette Vacations. “This is a destination that delivers consistent wows, and leaves bank customers with fantastic memories. This is the type of program that really helps banks with word-of-mouth advertising.”

“Train travel in Switzerland is unlike anywhere else,” said Herrmann. “A trip on a train in Switzerland is not a transfer but an excursion.  It is the most convenient way to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Swiss Alps, have a wonderful meal on the way, and even get from A to B. And our system offers a unique combination of travel by train, coach and boat, to all four corners of the country.”

“Collette Vacations understands the discerning standards that banks have for their best clients, and we have a history of delivering travel options that meet those standards consistently,” said Etienne. “We have some wonderful train travel programs to present in Memphis, and we’re thrilled that Switzerland Tourism can be there to help us do it.”
