A Big Thanks to Breakout Monitors at the Select Traveler Conference

The Select Traveler Conference would like to thank six volunteer moderators who did a great job with the travel planner breakout sessions in Nashville. Volunteers have long been important to the conference’s growth and relevance. These individuals oversaw far-reaching discussions about running successful travel programs for their respective planner categories:

• LaDonna Allen, Wallace State Community College, Hanceville, Alabama

• Webb Brown, Montana Chamber of Commerce, Helena, Montana

• Alex Bryan, Alexander/Monroe Chamber of Commerce, Alexandria, Indiana

• Kim Carb, Southwest Bank, Fort Worth, Texas

• Sandi Frost, Resource Bank, DeKalb, Illinois

• Paul Tapp, East Texas Baptist University, Marshall, Texas

“I really enjoyed the separate breakout session for chambers of commerce,” said chamber group co-moderator Alex Bryan afterward. “It was nice to talk with other chambers and to gather ideas and talk about our experiences with chamber travel.”

“We had 11 at our table — an exceptional group,” said alumni group co-moderator Paul Tapp. “I think everyone brought good insights, and everyone took something away that will be helpful and encouraging.”
