Education: High school graduate
Employment: Tate worked for Chillicothe State Bank for a few years shortly after graduating from high school. After a hiatus of 25 years to have children and pursue other careers, she returned.
She has been the Distinguished Citizens Club director and loan secretary for eight years. Tate has had a variety of vocations, including long-distance telephone operator, executive vice president for the local chamber of commerce and general manager for a Best Western hotel.
Family: Husband of 40 years, Steve; two daughters, Kristin and Erin; one son, Michael; and she hopes, grandchildren down the road
Hobbies: Sewing, gardening and reading
