In response to travelers looking for shorter stays and city-specific tours, Collette has recently released Collette Spotlights. Collette structured these 2015 short tours for travelers with limited vacation days and a desire to explore a single destination.
Each tour ranges between four to six days in length with accommodations at one hotel. The tours include several meals, some guided excursions and free time.
Collette released 16 Spotlight itineraries for 14 destinations including Florence, Rome, Venice, Paris, the French Riviera, Dublin, London, Barcelona, Madrid, New York, New Orleans, San Francisco, San Antonio and Beijing. New York and San Antonio also have holiday itineraries.
Collette staff expects the tours to attract young and semi-retired travelers with a limited amount of vacation time. The tours remain less expensive that Collette’s standard tours, but with four-star hotels in desirable locations. A maximum of 44 people can travel in one of these tours.
