Forty-five members and guests of the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce traveled to Ireland last fall to see some of the most scenic and famous parts of the country. The nine-day tour took them to see castles, cathedrals and cliffs, among other attractions.
“A few of the highlights of the trip included: A night’s stay in the Fitzpatrick Castle, Wicklow National Park, Glendalough Monastic Site, Bunratty Castle Medieval Banquet, Cliffs of Moher, Killarney National Park, Muckross House and Gardens, Ring of Kerry, Blarney Castle, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and a tour of Old Jameson Whiskey Distillery.”

Alumni travelers and their guests from Rutgers University spent nearly two weeks on a luxury trip to South Africa. In addition to seeing the “big five” game animals on safari at Kruger National Park, the group learned some of the nation’s history and visited Nelson Mandela’s prison cell at Robben Island.
“We also visited Kliptown Youth Center in Soweto and enjoying a lunch of traditional African cuisine. And we enjoyed incredible scenery and classic luxury during a train journey aboard the Rovos Rail.”
