Maryland Live! debuts this summer

A new casino is coming this summer to Maryland’s Arundel Mills Mall. Located halfway between Baltimore and Washington, the mall already attracts 14 million visitors each year; the $500 million Maryland Live! Casino will add to the appeal.
The large development will encompass 330,000 square feet of space on a 12-acre site at the mall. Gamers will find 4,750 slot machines and electronic table games, including blackjack, roulette, minibaccarat and pai gow poker.
In addition to the gaming, the development will bring a number of new restaurants. Bobby’s Burger Palace will feature an array of hamburgers created by celebrity chef Bobby Flay.
The development will bring favorite national restaurants such as the Cheesecake Factory, Phillips Seafood and the Prime Rib. A buffet and an authentic Asian noodle bar will round out the culinary offerings.
The casino will have a direct entrance into the mall, as well as a private motorcoach lobby for groups. Although the property won’t include any hotel space, the Arundel Mills Mall area has more than 1,400 hotel rooms.
