Shawnee Chamber of Commerce members and guests spent eight days touring Ireland last spring. The tour began and ended in Dublin and included a visit to Killarney, kissing the Blarney Stone, touring the Dingle Peninsula and traveling across county Kerry.

A group of the University of Pennsylvania alumni and friends traveled throughout Turkey for 15 days last fall, visiting destinations including Istanbul, Troy, Ephesus and Antalya, and exploring the Turquoise Coast by gullet ship. The group was accompanied by C. Brian Rose, a University of Pennsylvania professor who spent 25 years overseeing archaeological digs at Troy.
